I wrote a previous review in 2016 and since Tony has moved the shop to Scott Blvd, I thought I would update. Mercedes Exclusively is a fantastic shop that takes the fear out of owning a Mercedes as I have had a few over the last 10 years. They are honest and capable. Prices are good and the quality of workmanship is great and they stand behind their work. I actually look forward to my annual services (if you can believe that). Its nice to have a shop like this as there is no worry of being upsold or lied to. Need more shops like this.

Tony and his crew are great - honest, great work, reasonable prices. They don't recommend things unless needed - you don't feel like they're trying to upsell you like many dealers or other shops.

I forgot to mention that the Benz dealership wanted $1600 for 4 new breaks and rotors. 1.5 years later Tony replaced my front breaks, NONE of the rotors. When I finally sold my Benz the Summer of 2018, it was still riding on the factory rotors and rear breaks and it was around 67K miles.

I've come here for a Service A on my Mercedes after growing tired of dealership prices and how they always add on extra things they claim I need to replace. It was straightforward just calling into Mercedes Exclusively, booking an appointment within a few days, dropping it off and coming back within a few hours when the service was complete.
Recently, I hit a metal bar/pipe thing lying in the freeway that scratched the side of my bumper and also broke the daytime runner light/trim. I finally had a few days off from work so I called in and Tony explained what parts I would need to replace and estimated cost. He ordered the parts and I was able to bring it in the next morning with an estimated time of an hour to do the work. He called me back within 45 minutes that it was ready. To my surprise, not only were the parts replaced, but also they had buffed out the black marks on the bumper. So nice!! Would definitely recommend Tony and his crew here for great service on Mercedes at reasonable prices.

Despite these tough times regarding COVID-19, Mercedes Exclusively continues to provide excellent service and quality at a very competitive price. I want to strongly recognize Tony and his team for their fast turnaround time, honesty, and sanitary measures.
The service I had done today was a replacement for my front brake pads. I was in and out well within the estimated timeframe that was provided.
Last but not least, PPE such as masks and gloves were worn and the areas in the vehicle that were touched were wiped down as well. This truly shows that Mercedes Exclusively cares greatly for their customers.
If you need to service your Mercedes, do not hesitate to bring it here. You will be taken care of!

I was looking for a new mechanic to service my 2008 S550 and a friend of mine recommended "Mercedes Exclusively". I originally went in for a service B maintenance, fix the pump for my windshield wipers, and to fix a noise that was coming from my suspension.
Upon the completion of the inspection, they found that my brakes were under the limit and I had a leak that was appearing in the engine. Tony clearly explained all of the services that would be required and the time expected to complete them. I was very happy with maintenance and the customer service I received! I plan on using "Mercedes Exclusively" from this point on for my cars.

Tony and his team at Mercedes Exclusively have been servicing our Mercedes Benz vehicles for over a decade. This review is overdue: I have been going to Mercedes Exclusively for more than 10 years. After I bought my CLK 320 (2005) I tried several mechanics (for Service A and B, etc) until I found this place. Ever since then, given the quality of the service and the experience, I always came back for any kind of service I needed on the car. Driving to this shop whenever there was an issue made me feel relaxed, since I knew that Tony could quickly diagnose the issue, provide recommendations how to fix it and answer all question very clearly and very honestly. If there were more people conducting their business the way Tony does, this world would be a much better place.
I just sold my CLK 320 and feel good about getting a new car, but feel sad I will not be coming back to Mercedes Exclusively. I feel that a big reason why the CLK served me so well and was a joy to drive is that it was taken care of by this shop. Hope some people will find this review helpful in finding a highly ethical shop with top notch service for their Benz.

Tony & Joe have been taking care of my 2004 E55 AMG for the last 5 years of ownership! Nothing but good things to say about them - honest, fair, professional ... I have recommended them to many of my friends who own MB's. Seriously, how many Yelp 5 stars do you see for an independent high-end car repair shop anywhere? I initially was skeptical about this place due to all the 5 stars. I thought that maybe it was some sort of scheme that the shop perhaps paid people to write positive reviews. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Boy am I glad. The gentleman who I believe runs the shop his name is Tony. Very honest and sincere gave me fair pricing on a service B CLK 500 Mercedes. In addition to that he was really nice to put in a battery on my key at no extra charge. He thoroughly went through a few things I needed in the near future and cost. The car was ready on time as well. I could not be no more than satisfied. This will be my go to shop for all my Mercedes needs. Thanks guys! it is really tough now a days to find an honest workshop.

This place is amazing . Ive never trust any mercedes services not in the Mercedes Dealer. I just came here San Jose from Los Angeles so im looking for a good place to do service. I found Tony. He is the man. He is so helpful and nice. Fixed and good deal. Then I got the brake alert. He checked for me and helped me repaired it. It was so nice. This place is very good place for mercedes service if you dont bring to dealer.

I'm a very quiet man on social network but I have to yell here. I'd love to give Tony a hundred star rating if I could.
I've been visiting this places over seven years now, and Tony takes care of my S class and M class so well, beyond my expectation in each visit. This time is about my M class, i noticed some engine noises - heavier than normal - and Steven Creek MB dealer has no clue about it. I stopped by in a morning and Tony quickly diagnosed by took serpentine belt off. He also refilled engine oil, seems the level is low although i didnt get any warning from sensor. Everything done quickly, professionally, and free of charge! Tony said it's a favor 🙂
I'm so happy to have such a master craftsman in this area and serve MB owners with highest honest and honor. And i sincerely wish his business grow smoothly and healthy.

This place is great. I have been recommended to Tony several times, and finally I took my 2003 Mercedes E500 in for repair. I'm the past I have noticed other mechanics and service shops try overcharging and replacing pats when they do not need to be replaced. Tony was honest with what needed to be done and did all the work at a good price. I highly recommend this shop to anyone, and I plan on taking my Mercedes here as long as they are open.

These guys were so great, on short notice (used drop off) for a lot of little issues in addition to the AC not working (in San Jose...in August!). They let me know what was up every step of the way and came in at a really great price. Also checked a couple extra things and topped things up at no charge. I had a coolant low alarm this morning and found Mercedes Exclusively on Yelp! I called and spoke to Tony, who was v professional. When I arrived, Tony immediately checked my coolant for leakage and filled it up. I also told him about 4 light bulbs that need to be replaced, and he replaced them. The whole thing took 10 mins. When I asked about the cost, he replied, "Don't worry about it." I really appreciate the focus on customer service and I'm bringing my C300 here for its next service.

I started going here about 6 years ago when I bought my first Mercedes Benz, which was a 1999 CLK. Tony was always honest with me if I needed to have something fix or if I can wait until my next oil change. It's really hard to find a mechanic these days that you can trust. I ended up getting rid of my Benz a few years later and got a Honda Insight because my job required a lot of commuting. I got a new job over a year ago that didn't require any commuting and I got rid of my Insight and got another Benz. The only reason I went back to get another Benz was because of Tony. I had all these choices of luxury brand vehicles, but in the end, what's most important to me is a trustworthy mechanic.

I have not taken my car in for service yet, this review thus far is mainly for Tony's customer service.
I called to inquire about getting the SBC Pump replaced in my vehicle. They were not able to answer, but I did leave a message. My call was promptly returned about 1 hour later. They needed my vin, so I called back but again no answer. I left another voice message for them.
Just now, they called back roughly 30 minutes after their closing time, at 6pm, to discuss the repair and exchange information. Though I'm not a customer, and I have not committed to spending any money with them, the service has been stellar. Thank you, Tony, I really wish more businesses would employ your ethic.

By all means go to the dealership for warranty work or maintenance if you have a coupon, but otherwise save yourself money and get better mechanics at Mercedes Exclusively, especially if you have an older car/unusual problem. Tony's the kind of guy who'll pop in a bulb and send the customer on their way immediately if he's free, he once billed us a flat diagnostic even though I know it took him hours to figure out what the problem was, and he'll tell you if something is not worth trying to fix. If you ever take your car in for maintenance at the dealership and get the FUD treatment ("We noticed these 6 things are urgently wrong with your car...hate to have your brakes fail or your engine seize if you drive out of here without addressing...we can fix it all for you for, hmm, say $5700"), go to Tony; he'll tell you if it's really a problem or not, most likely it won't be anything urgent, and whatever he thinks you *should* take care of promptly will be a fraction of what the dealer was gonna gouge you for, lol. Top quality, super honest, excellent value, and I wish more businesses were like this one.

Came here on short notice to fix my break lamps. I recently changed the bulb and my dashboard still said "Check Left Brake Lamp". Came in without an appointment to get it checked out. In 10 minutes, Tony fixed the issue. I highly recommend them and their service!

Took my S500 into the shop for broken door locks. Tony and his crew gave me a $60 diagnosis estimate for the job and proceeded to dismantle my vehicle to find out what is wrong with the car after they initially replaced the broken locks. Imagine the amount of work going into fixing my door locks. After 3 days of working on the vehicle and replacing just about everything under the sun related to repairing the door locks, they charged me only for the broken part which was the master pump and extremely reasonable labor charges.
Tony clearly stated that I did not have to take the repairs and that I only owed the $60 for diagnosis if I did not want to repair the vehicle after they completed the repairs. Of course I accepted the repair costs that he charged for since it was extremely good. I know that if the dealership had repaired the vehicle, I would be looking at 2 to 3 times the cost he gave me. Mercedes is a piece of shit vehicle, but if you need it to get it fixed, I highly recommend Mercedes Exclusively and ask for Tony, he'll take care of you.

After I went to stealership to get my service B done, they said I need to get my brakes and rotors replaced. I was already in the hole by $500 for the stupid service B, so I declined and looked for an indy shop to do it. Thanks to Yelp, I found Tony's shop.
I took a day off and took my car in to Mercedes Exclusively to get it serviced; I didn't have anyone to pick me up, so I was gonna roam around the area on foot until it was done. Tony said there's nothing really exciting nearby and asked if I'd like to be dropped off at Valley fair or Santana row instead. Yeay! Like... wow! How many mechanics that you know of would offer to drop you off and pick you up at the mall while your car's getting serviced? I'm swooned. I got great service without having to pay high dealership prices. I hope it never changes. Tony totally provides service with a (charming) smile ; D

I always hear that owning a Mercedes Benz is crazy because of the EXPENSIVE car maintenance. Well, it's true if you go straight to a dealership, but we found an alternative: Tony & Ming at Mercedes Exclusively!!! This place ROCKS!!!
We took our C230 in for a diagnostic test and just to get a regular car check up. Tony hoisted the car up and invited us underneath it! Cool! (It's a guy thing)...probably not to cool for OSHA! hahaha- but I got an intimate tour of the car's engine, possible needs, and guts!
Tony connected his laptop to the car and did some fancy diagnostics. Apparently, there's only a couple shops in town that have access to that special software/device other than the Mercedes Benz dealerships!
After answering my 1000 questions, our car just needed a light bulb replaced & some fluids topped off. It was all good! ...AND he didn't charge us a penny for the combined 30 years of Mercedes knowledge! We just have to wait another 4500 miles until the next Plan B service and we'll definitely be back here again!
Our first experience dealing with this shop was simply AWESOME!

I like to think that the combination of my kick ass google research skills and yelp have rewarded me with some pretty good places to go to for my car repair. Dealership prices hurt. Really hurt.
In AZ, I was lucky to have found Myer Star and here in CA I'm fortunate to have found Mercedes Exclusively.

Tony was great! Affable, friendly and knowledgeable. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or doubt his skills when he started working on my girl. I was able to watch him, Tony (who also happens to be the owner of ME), as he worked. Most people don't like being watched, but I don't think he minded. 🙂
I'm happy that Yelp got it right with the 5 star reviews of Mercedes Exclusively. I'm happy that I can also add another 5 star review on top of the others as well. Great local business to support.

On my 3rd Mercedes and until I found Tony through Yelp had only taken my cars to the dealership in the past 15 years. Wish I had found Tony sooner!
His knowledge is superb and is evident that he liked working on Mercedes so much that he opened a shop exclusively for Mercedes.
I've experienced fair pricing every single time! Every single time.
He is so honest and yet a friggin guru when it comes to Mercedes.
I love the fact that he runs a clean, beautiful well organized garage. Shows pride in ownership and attention to detail. That attention to detail is what I have experienced from him everytime that I have had an issue.
Last visit was due to serpentine belt coming off the engine. Idle arm broke so the belt slipped right off. Even though the dealership came out to rescue me per the free MBZ roadside, I opted to not get the free tow to Smythe and instead paid to have my car towed to Tony. It was worth the extra $85 to know that I was not going to get financially screwed and to know that Tony would take care of the problem right away and get me back on the road asap.
Problem fixed by 4:45 that day even though every bay in his garage was filled and he had multiple cars waiting.
Oh and he even topped off my coolant just as I was leaving for free. But he always does these little nice extras for his customers without even mentioning it half the time. Last time when I had my water pump worked on, he fixed my door seal.
If you own a Mercedes, definitely this is your go to place for mechanical repair. You will save money and have a trusted person who believes in honesty and integrity. the pricing reflects it every time that I have visited.

Tony and Joe do a great job in assessing what would be needed in a service. I needed a Service B for my MB E350, but I also needed an auxiliary battery replaced. I called around for pricing and even called a parts supplier for a replacement battery. This shop still came in less expensive.. Both in labor and parts.
A few days after, I had a low beam headlight that I needed to replace. If some of you know, buying a bulb is easy and replacing one of the lamps is also easy. But when I tried to change the driver side lamp.. it was hell! So I was stuck with one bulb replaced, but the other was not... apparently I needed to access this from the bottom of the wheel well! So I went back to them and asked a favor to have them replace just that one bulb... they helped me out with no hesitation!
I've been coming here for the past 3 years now and they have always been accommodating and professional.

I had my Service F most recently for my 2008 E350. I was expecting it would cost over $1000 given how extensive an "F" service might be compared to merely a Service A, B, or C. Palpitations, right?
Tony looked at my car's computer to see what was needed with Service F, which had so many service numbers displayed on the computer dashboard (as part of the total package "F"). I thought "uh oh", but when we went back to the counter, Tony had said that I did NOT need both 5 or 7 (listed on the computer dashboard as part of Service F).
5 was to replace the fuel filter (costs around $700+) and 7 was for the spark plugs, both of which were clearly needed much later down the road (according to a printed out service schedule sheet). Specifically 5 (fuel filter) is required every 143,000 or 15 years! I'm only at 5 or 42,000 miles.
I KNOW that if I'd gone to a dealership, I would have been charged for a Service F that would have included ALL the service numbers, higher labor costs, etc). I'm thinking that bill would have definitely been over $1000 (I'm being conservative here in dealership estimate).
So my total bill with tax came out to $324.70!!! I was thrilled and expressed my thanks to Tony for being upfront and honest with me, not that I would expect anything less from this guy.

I went to see Tony based on Faz's review, and I would give Tony 10 stars if possible. From the moment I called him and told him of my problem, he had some leads to go on and told me to bring in the car. When I met up with Tony, he was very methodical on diagnosis. Almost to the point of knowing exactly what to do just by listening to the car. The problem turned out to be a vacuum leaked due to a hose popping off, and Tony not only re-installed the hose, but put a hose clamp to make sure this problem would not occur in the future. He fixed little odds and ends on my car and spent a lot of time with me. At the end, he tried to *not* charge me for his service! Of course, I am more than happy to support my local service center, so I had to pretty much shove money on him. Talk about an experience!
At first, I was a little apprehensive about buying a used Mercedes, but with guys like Tony, I have ZERO reservations and I would gladly go back to him time and time again.
The only real problem I see with Tony is when he gets big, and he may not be able to fit me in his schedule within minutes of calling him 🙂

My last review of Mercedes Exclusively was 5 years ago. I still have my 01 C320 with over 185k that Tony keeps on the road. I found him years ago and still continue to take all of my M-Bs to him. My friends ask we why I don't find a mechanic that's closer to me in San Pablo. I'm quick to say that Tony is a super great guy. He's honest & trustworthy. He looks me in the eye. He knows the Benz inside & out. His shop is so clean you could eat off the floor. Last week I had an issue with the seat adjuster when I picked my car up after 4 on Friday. Tony quickly diagnosed the issue, got the part & had me on my way shortly after 5. He stayed late even though it was his birthday!!

The most honest auto repair business
I found this place based on the Yelp reviews and have to agree. Tony is the most reasonably priced, honest repair shop I have ever dealt with in my 30 years of owning cars. I have a ML350 and have tried multiple deals who charge 3-4 times the price for simple things oil changes. I've been using Tony for 2 years and have had brakes, oil changes, etc. and always satisfied with the service, communication and price.

Tony is a Master Mechanic from a local dealership. He set up his own shop for all the right reasons. He's more knowledgeable, faster, cheaper, and just straight up cares more about the quality of his work than the competition-
He's a GREAT guy, too. He's honest, trustworthy, and won't make up fake (and always expensive) crap that "definitely needs to get done" the way the dealerships do.
His practice is to show you all the worn/ broken parts he replaced during your service/ repair.
Communicates well, uses factory parts. There's no one who cares more about his customers.

I came in for my appointment last week and was greeted by Tony with a warm smile. I had an appointment for a B service which was basically an oil change (A very expensive freakin oil change). Tony discussed and explained what he would be doing to the car and answered all my questions. I was quoted by the Beshoff Mercedes dealership for $425 for the B service but I only paid $275 here at Mercedes Exclusively!!
There was a slight mix up? I thought I had my appointment for Monday at 10am, but for some reason Tony did not see it in the schedule? Anyway, the place was quite booked but he squeezed me in anyway ...My appointment was at 10am, but Tony said that it won't be done till 1am. Since it was a weekday, I couldn't get a ride because my friends and family were all at work or school. SOOooo...Tony offered to drop me off at Valley Fair Mall so that I could shop around while he works on my car. After eat and and shopping around the mall, he picked me up right at 1pm. My car was done and I was a happy customer! =)

I've been coming to Mercedes Exclusively for the last two years and these guys don't disappoint. Tony (the owner) is straightforward and definitely knows what he's talking about.
He doesn't try and upsell you on anything; he figures out based on the codes what's needed and does just that, at a fair price. He always takes the time to explain what a Service entails, and how instead of doing the entire service, I might only need particular things, which are the only things he charges for.
He and Ming run a smooth operation. Ming has even dropped me off at my work after my car was brought in for service! I'll probably be staying with these guys as long as I have my E-Class. Easiest 5 star rating ever.

Just came back from Mercedes Exclusively... had my front brakes replaced (both pads and rotors), and also had the brake system's fluid flushed. I had the front brakes done at the dealership a few years ago, and now it was time to have them checked out (even though there were sensor errors). It turned out the brake pads were almost worn out completely (why the sensor didn't kick in, I don't know) and my rotors were also 1 mm below the recommended thickness (I expected it was time for a rotor change anyway.)
The total cost of parts and labor again was well below what the dealership would have charged me, and the service quality and knowledge was better than dealership (personalized service from a person who used to work for a dealership and who has all the right tools and knowledge... what more can one ask for?)
Tony, thanks again for a fantastic job on my car... I can't bring myself to move away from mercedes now, especially since I have a 'friend' like yourself in repair business.

Couple of weekends ago I dropped by and asked Tony if he had the kit for the front turn signal on my C240 (a known problem where contacts wear out, and Mercedes has a replacement kit that they sell.) Lucky for me, or his good planning based on knowledge of known problems, he had one in the shop and installed it for me and had me on my way in less than 10 minutes! [[ I am sure It would have taken me longer to make the well dressed, french-manicured, nice looking lady at the 'parts counter' of the local dealership understand what the hell it is that I am looking for.]] This is what I love about the personal and professional service I get at Tony's shop. :thumbup:

Had Tony replace the fuel filter on my car (has about 80k miles on it) to resolve an occasional hickup in idle when cold. I asked Tony if I should change spark plugs and plug wires as well, and even though it would have meant more work and money for him, he suggested to just go with the fuel filter for now and that it should resolve my problem.
The car has not shown that occasional hickup at idle when cold anymore.

Tony, thanks for taking me in on a short notice.
I took the car to Tony to have the charging system checked (I replaced the weak battery last week myself with a new one, wanted to make sure it is not the charging system.) Also had Tony increase the idle speed, during which, Tony also modified the default gas octane setting to increase my car's responsiveness and take some of the 'laziness' that has been bothering me ever since I bought the car new (wish I had this done 5 years ago.) Also checked an annoying ticking noise from beneath the center console, which was due to some insulation sagging and rubbing against drive u-joints... Tony trimmed the foam/cardboard insulation a bit so it didn't rub against the drive train, and that took care of the noise. I am sure a dealer would have charged me an arm and a leg to find and take care of that noise for me.

I took my 2002 C240 to Tony to have him change the transmission fluid and filter. Simply amazed by his professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness in general. This is a high end shop with good equipment and Mercedes specific knowledge, and the 'personal' touch of knowing who is working on your car, and not having to deal with dealership and its behind the scenes issues.
The price was more than reasonable, I insisted to pay more than he asked... the service was THAT GOOD.
I recommend him to all my friends and family and coworkers.

Must say it.
This time, the yellow warning light of my wife's Mercedes is on, so I bring to Tony. He checked right away and found out that there was missing part for the frame contact of break light.
He weld that part and made it work without charge !
At the meantime, he called the dealer to turn on the dead CD player. He did all of these without charge.

I'm not going to bore you with another testimony about how great this team is. Instead, I'm writing this review to CELEBRATE their excellence. How a team!!! I mean, taking a car to the auto shop for service, like going to a dentist, is not supposed to something you're looking forward to right? Well I'm so looking forward to my next service!! In fact, I'd have my minor transmission issue fixed for my 2000 CLK if Tony had not told me to wait... Complaints?? Of course! I wish that they could do more, much more, like adding bodywork and stereo...

Case #1: The car's automatic trunk closer stopped working three times now. The first two times were taken care of under warranty. Now out of warranty, the dealer wanted $1,200. Mercedes Exclusively fixed it for $147. Granted, they did a repair job rather than a replacement. The replacement would have been about $500, and is still an option if the trunk acts up again.
Case #2: I hit a piece of shredded tire that knocked a Parktronic sensor out of position in the bumper. Tony initially looked at the problem via pictures I e-mailed to him. When I brought the car in, he popped off the part of the bumper with the pushed-in sensor, put the sensor back in its proper position, and popped it back together again. Ten minutes. No charge.
The layers of complication and formal proceedings around getting service have been stripped away. It's now simple and down-to-earth.

I'm 20k miles in and had Tony and his folks do Service A and B on my 2010 C300 Sport. Save yourself at least $100 and go on over to Mercedes Exclusively, unless you absolutely need a loaner car, at which point you might want to go to a dealership for maintenance and repairs. As a testament to how honest these guys are, I asked for an estimate for an A/C vent cleanse. I was expecting at least $100, but Tony made sure to let me know that the issue is covered under warranty...though I would've gladly paid for this service had they offered. Your stereotypical stealership or any other money sucking mechanic estimate for this particular service would probably in the $200 range.
Looking forward to coming back here in 10k miles!

This is the best shop I've brought my 2001 ML 320 to. Tony is great! I have been bringing my car to Tony's shop since 2009. When I first came here, Tony had about two garages and since then he has expanded. I am excited to see that his business is doing so well and he really deserves it. This is a great, affordable & honest mechanic that knows his stuff about Mercedes Benz. I trust that when I take my car to this shop- it is getting taken care of and if Tony sees any other issues with my car, I take his word for it and let him go ahead and fix that too. I live in Palo Alto, so coming to San Jose is a pain, but well worth it. I love that he has an over night drop box- this is the only way I can get my car to San Jose.
So, all in all- Great shop with a knowledgeable & friendly Owner/ Mechanic 🙂

This review is a decade in the making, and long overdue.
We first came to Mercedes Exclusively when this shop only had a single-digit number of reviews on Yelp, soon after our CLK 320 went out of warranty, but not soon enough. After repeated "creative writing" exercises by the dealer's Service Advisor, since bringing our beloved Merc to Mercedes Exclusively 10 years ago, it has been running great. We have become huge fans of Tony and Mercedes Exclusively.
The 180 degree difference in experience we've received here over the years, compared to the dealer (yes, the one located around the corner and down the street) could not be more pronounced or dramatic. As many other Yelpers have stated, Tony and his team are honest, ethical, fair, knowledgeable, competent, hard-working, and, oh by the way, super nice guys. (You can make the inferential leap about the dealer.) Terrific to see Tony's continued success and to hear of his upcoming expansion (again.)

Hands down the best Mercedes repair shop around. Nick is the man. Took my E55 Kompressor here for a couple repairs. As many are aware, working on a E55 is no joke. Super Honest & Excellent Quality Mercedes Repair.
Tony and his crew are very knowledgeable - like the "Click and Clack" (NPR) for Mercedes Repair! They've seen it all and can tell you what's worth fixing/ replacing or just patching up. Prices are a fraction of what you would be charged at dealerships!
I've saved so much by going there for regular maintenance and repairs. Each time I go there (my MB has electrical idiosyncrasies) we shoot the breeze and I learn something more about my car. It's a lot to take in but Tony is always patient and will walk you through what your car does & doesn't need.
So, if you're reeling from the quote you just got from your dealer, head to Mercedes Exclusively and then you can take a trip to Vegas with all you save! (Seriously.)

Now I really now why these guys have 5 stars on yelp. They are honest, provide great service and definitely save you ton of money. I had a quote from the service station for over 2k, I ended up paying 10% of the quote to Mercedes exclusively. Tony at Mercedes Exclusively gave me a print out of services due in future. Most of the services the service station had quoted werent due until Service F & service G, my car was due service B.
My car definitely runs better than before and I am glad, I choose Mercedes Exclusively over Smythe.

I took my previous MLB320 to Mercedes Exclusively for many years. When Tony finally advised it was time to "retire" her, I didn't hesitate. Family and friends all had their own recommendations on a new car, however knowing that another Mercedes meant not having to find a new mechanic made the decision a no brainer. For my first visit, I called to see if they were willing to look at a car before I accepted it. Tony walked me through the car for about 45 minutes and didn't charge me. Who does that? Take 45 min out of their work hours without charging?
Needless to say, any work I need done with my car, I've only brought it to Tony. You really cannot put a price on a truth worthy mechanic. I never have second thoughts about Tony's suggestions or work. Tony and his right hand man also attends workshops? to keep up with the industry.
Make sure you call and make an appointment, its a 2 man shop and they're busy.

This place is the real deal. Initially skeptical... but I think this place is my new go-to-mechanic.
Had a SRS and overhead console problem. Tony and Ming diagnosed for $49 (bump seat belt buckle and fired overhead console --- plug and play stuff)... that is cheaper than many other independent MB service shops.
Even when I didn't want to fix it then, they wrote in the service note that if I decide to get it fixed by them, they credit the $49 dollar back towards the repair.

Very excellent customer service delivered by Tony, the owner of this business. He is very knowledgable on the ins and outs of Mercedes vehicles. From chatting with him, it was pretty evident that he is a Mercedes aficionado. I recently bought my Mercedes used and Tony allayed my fears related to the previous owner(s)'s suboptimal treatment of the vehicle (using regular gas with a premium only engine, and using regular engine oil instead of synthetic). I primarily brought it in for an oil change and a "Service A". Also, a general diagnosis, though I did specially mention a specific issue of which I was aware.
The service went pretty smooth. Fluids were topped off or replaced. Mostly cosmetic issues were spotted, and nothing that wasn't critical to the basic function of a 15+ year old vehicle was not fixed. However, the diagnosis took a lot longer than I expected. Tony wanted to hold my vehicle overnight so it would be convenient to do further testing the next morning. I permitted this, and on day 2, I didn't hear back from him all day until 2 hours before closing time. Since I was busy at the time, by the time I freed up, I had only one hour. Fortunately, I wasn't in pressing need of convenient transportation for the day, but I was a bit anxious to hear some news on his diagnosis, as the day went on. Seems like he just wants to do a great job for the customer and really appreciates Mercedes vehicles; he tested my car a number of times during the day to get it to trigger an expected symptom, but never got any result (a good and maybe bad thing). When it came time for me to pay, he had already decided to take back the charge on the diagnosis, since "there wasn't even a problem", though he and his mechanics certainly did the work and spent the time to experiment with the issue. He suggested that the next time the issue came up, I bring it in right away, which I definitely will be doing.
This is how you get repeat business, and potentially more from the word of mouth advertising that I will be sharing with friends. Business also seems to be booming, understandably from all these positive reviews and the line of pickups that started forming out the office door after I was done.

I found Tony's MB Exclusively by reading his great reviews on yelp so I thought I should give him a try. I've been taking our ML55 between big dealerships and smaller shops to find a balance between reliability and reasonable price...Tony is it!! He's honest, trustworthy, knows what he is doing and most of all...he saved me almost a couple of thousand dollars from the first major repair that he has done based on the first quote that I got from a dealership.
I said he really knows what he is doing. Before I took my car to him for a clicking noise behind the radio in the dashboard, another shop said it could be just the radio, not convinced, I took it to a dealership which diagnosed it to be a stuck motor stepper and was going to charge me $1650. Without telling Tony the diagnosis, he gave me the same diagnosis as the dealership and told me he was going to charge me between $900-$1000. Guess what, he only charged us $850.
Another incident, my husband changed the smog air pump..Tony reset the "check engine" light without charge, not only once but twice...which shop does that?

Took my 2014 CLA 250 in for brakes, service, and a broken windshield wiper motor. I knew for sure I could get the brakes and service done, but was pretty surprised they offered to fix the windshield wiper motor as well. I thought for sure I'd have to take it to the dealership. All three services cost me $1200, which is at minimum 40% less than what I would have paid at the dealership. Tony has great customer service, and you definitley get the feeling he is a fair and honest individual. I will definitely be coming back to Mercedes Exclusively for all of my upcoming service and maintenance needs.

Can't really expect more from a Mercedes shop. Prices are fair, service is great, and the job is done right. I took my E350 in because of the check engine light which indicated I needed a new Premair sensor. Most places I called either didn't know what it was or told me I needed to replace the entire radiator. That would have cost over a thousand dollars to do. When I called Tony, I was pleasantly surprised that, he knew what the part is, and also didn't try to rip me off by telling me I needed a new radiator. If you need to service your Mercedes, I wouldn't hesitate to use Mercedes Exclusively!

This morning my CLK 320 gave me a reminder that Service A is due in 1,000 miles, so I will be returning to Mercedes Exclusively again soon. This reminder also made me realize I havent reviewed this wonderful shop yet, so here goes....
Tony and his team have been servicing my CLK since I brought it to Cali from Colorado and I have always been pleased. The best thing about Tony is his honesty. Unlike the dealership service departments I never feel like he is pushing me to do something I don't need. Prices are competitive but not cheap, and how could they be? Mercedes parts are spendy, that's how it is, but his labor charges and the results make it all worthwhile. He is extremely popular, so appointments are not always available right away, but the experience is worth the wait.
My CLK has over 100K miles on it now, so it's time to buy a new car. I was about to throw down on a Tesla Model X, and I may still do that, but then I started thinking forward to service issues. This shop can't work on a Tesla so I'll be stuck with Elon and Co going forward and judging from the service one of my friends gets from Tesla (they either do the work yard-sale-style in his driveway or he has to drive all the way to Palo Alto) it may not be worth it. I started looking at new Mercedes models last night and that may be where I end up, with Tony's shop being one of the factors that influences my decision to stay brand loyal. It's easy to buy something that looks and feels good at the time, but it's a long road ahead and it matters who will take care of you when things break. At minimum I'll still be bringing the CLK to Tony, I won't part with it, it's still great for trips to/from the gym, dropping the top on sunny days and having a car that howls when you get on it. This is a shop I trust completely.

My car is 10 years old and I've been going to Mercedes Exclusively (exclusively) for the last 6 years after I got tired of getting ripped off by the stealership. The dealer would always recommend unnecessary services for my then relatively new car. The last time I went to the dealership to get my car serviced, they told me I needed a transmission fluid flush. I went to Mercedes Exclusively to get a second opinion. Tony checked my car and told me the flush wasn't needed yet. I've been getting my car serviced here ever since. I appreciate how honest these guys are and I always know my car is in good hands. Yesterday, I got an alert on my car to check the engine oil. I knew it wasn't time to change my oil yet so I called ME and they fit me in the next day. I was expecting to drop my car off but luckily they were able to look at it right away while I waited. One of the guys (I didn't catch his name but he was bald) looked at my car and confirmed I didn't have a leak but that my oil was a little bit low. He topped off my oil and noticed some of my lights had burnt out so he replaced them for me. I was getting ready to pay when he said "don't worry, no charge!" I'm so happy to be a loyal customer of ME. Other places will nickel and dime you for even taking a peak at your car. These guys are the best! Thank you ME!

I forgot to mention that the Benz dealership wanted $1600 for 4 new breaks and rotors. 1.5 years later Tony replaced my front breaks, NONE of the rotors. When I finally sold my Benz the Summer of 2018, it was still riding on the factory rotors and rear breaks and it was around 67K miles.

I've come here for a Service A on my Mercedes after growing tired of dealership prices and how they always add on extra things they claim I need to replace. It was straightforward just calling into Mercedes Exclusively, booking an appointment within a few days, dropping it off and coming back within a few hours when the service was complete.
Recently, I hit a metal bar/pipe thing lying in the freeway that scratched the side of my bumper and also broke the daytime runner light/trim. I finally had a few days off from work so I called in and Tony explained what parts I would need to replace and estimated cost. He ordered the parts and I was able to bring it in the next morning with an estimated time of an hour to do the work. He called me back within 45 minutes that it was ready. To my surprise, not only were the parts replaced, but also they had buffed out the black marks on the bumper. So nice!! Would definitely recommend Tony and his crew here for great service on Mercedes at reasonable prices.

The service I had done today was a replacement for my front brake pads. I was in and out well within the estimated timeframe that was provided.

I was looking for a new mechanic to service my 2008 S550 and a friend of mine recommended "Mercedes Exclusively". I originally went in for a service B maintenance, fix the pump for my windshield wipers, and to fix a noise that was coming from my suspension.
Upon the completion of the inspection, they found that my brakes were under the limit and I had a leak that was appearing in the engine. Tony clearly explained all of the services that would be required and the time expected to complete them. I was very happy with maintenance and the customer service I received! This review is overdue: I have been going to Mercedes Exclusively for more than 10 years. After I bought my CLK 320 (2005) I tried several mechanics (for Service A and B, etc) until I found this place. Ever since then, given the quality of the service and the experience, I always came back for any kind of service I needed on the car. Driving to this shop whenever there was an issue made me feel relaxed, since I knew that Tony could quickly diagnose the issue, provide recommendations how to fix it and answer all question very clearly and very honestly. If there were more people conducting their business the way Tony does, this world would be a much better place.
I just sold my CLK 320 and feel good about getting a new car, but feel sad I will not be coming back to Mercedes Exclusively. I feel that a big reason why the CLK served me so well and was a joy to drive is that it was taken care of by this shop. Hope some people will find this review helpful in finding a highly ethical shop with top notch service for their Benz.

I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Boy am I glad. The gentleman who I believe runs the shop his name is Tony. Very honest and sincere gave me fair pricing on a service B CLK 500 Mercedes. In addition to that he was really nice to put in a battery on my key at no extra charge. He thoroughly went through a few things I needed in the near future and cost. I've been visiting this places over seven years now, and Tony takes care of my S class and M class so well, beyond my expectation in each visit. This time is about my M class, i noticed some engine noises - heavier than normal - and Steven Creek MB dealer has no clue about it. I stopped by in a morning and Tony quickly diagnosed by took serpentine belt off. He also refilled engine oil, seems the level is low although i didnt get any warning from sensor. I started going here about 6 years ago when I bought my first Mercedes Benz, which was a 1999 CLK. Tony was always honest with me if I needed to have something fix or if I can wait until my next oil change. It's really hard to find a mechanic these days that you can trust. I ended up getting rid of my Benz a few years later and got a Honda Insight because my job required a lot of commuting. I got a new job over a year ago that didn't require any commuting and I got rid of my Insight and got another Benz. The only reason I went back to get another Benz was because of Tony. I had all these choices of luxury brand vehicles, but in the end, what's most important to me is a trustworthy mechanic.

I called to inquire about getting the SBC Pump replaced in my vehicle. They were not able to answer, but I did leave a message. My call was promptly returned about 1 hour later. They needed my vin, so I called back but again no answer. I left another voice message for them.
Just now, they called back roughly 30 minutes after their closing time, at 6pm, to discuss the repair and exchange information. Took my S500 into the shop for broken door locks. Tony and his crew gave me a $60 diagnosis estimate for the job and proceeded to dismantle my vehicle to find out what is wrong with the car after they initially replaced the broken locks. Imagine the amount of work going into fixing my door locks. After 3 days of working on the vehicle and replacing just about everything under the sun related to repairing the door locks, they charged me only for the broken part which was the master pump and extremely reasonable labor charges.
Tony clearly stated that I did not have to take the repairs and that I only owed the $60 for diagnosis if I did not want to repair the vehicle after they completed the repairs. Of course I accepted the repair costs that he charged for since it was extremely good. I know that if the dealership had repaired the vehicle, I would be looking at 2 to 3 times the cost he gave me. Mercedes is a piece of shit vehicle, but if you need it to get it fixed, I highly recommend Mercedes Exclusively and ask for Tony, he'll take care of you.

After I went to stealership to get my service B done, they said I need to get my brakes and rotors replaced. I was already in the hole by $500 for the stupid service B, so I declined and looked for an indy shop to do it. Thanks to Yelp, I found Tony's shop.
I took a day off and took my car in to Mercedes Exclusively to get it serviced; I didn't have anyone to pick me up, so I was gonna roam around the area on foot until it was done. Tony said there's nothing really exciting nearby and asked if I'd like to be dropped off at Valley fair or Santana row instead. Yeay! Like... wow! How many mechanics that you know of would offer to drop you off and pick you up at the mall while your car's getting serviced? I'm swooned. I always hear that owning a Mercedes Benz is crazy because of the EXPENSIVE car maintenance. Well, it's true if you go straight to a dealership, but we found an alternative: Tony & Ming at Mercedes Exclusively!!! This place ROCKS!!!
We took our C230 in for a diagnostic test and just to get a regular car check up. Tony hoisted the car up and invited us underneath it! Cool! (It's a guy thing)...probably not to cool for OSHA! hahaha- but I got an intimate tour of the car's engine, possible needs, and guts!
Tony connected his laptop to the car and did some fancy diagnostics. Apparently, there's only a couple shops in town that have access to that special software/device other than the Mercedes Benz dealerships!
After answering my 1000 questions, our car just needed a light bulb replaced & some fluids topped off. It was all good! ...AND he didn't charge us a penny for the combined 30 years of Mercedes knowledge! We just have to wait another 4500 miles until the next Plan B service and we'll definitely be back here again!
Our first experience dealing with this shop was simply AWESOME!

He is so honest and yet a friggin guru when it comes to Mercedes.
I love the fact that he runs a clean, beautiful well organized garage. Shows pride in ownership and attention to detail. That attention to detail is what I have experienced from him everytime that I have had an issue.
Last visit was due to serpentine belt coming off the engine. Idle arm broke so the belt slipped right off. Even though the dealership came out to rescue me per the free MBZ roadside, I opted to not get the free tow to Smythe and instead paid to have my car towed to Tony. It was worth the extra $85 to know that I was not going to get financially screwed and to know that Tony would take care of the problem right away and get me back on the road asap.
Problem fixed by 4:45 that day even though every bay in his garage was filled and he had multiple cars waiting.
Oh and he even topped off my coolant just as I was leaving for free. But he always does these little nice extras for his customers without even mentioning it half the time. Last time when I had my water pump worked on, he fixed my door seal.
If you own a Mercedes, definitely this is your go to place for mechanical repair. You will save money and have a trusted person who believes in honesty and integrity. the pricing reflects it every time that I have visited.

Tony and Joe do a great job in assessing what would be needed in a service. I needed a Service B for my MB E350, but I also needed an auxiliary battery replaced. I called around for pricing and even called a parts supplier for a replacement battery. This shop still came in less expensive.. Both in labor and parts.
A few days after, I had a low beam headlight that I needed to replace. If some of you know, buying a bulb is easy and replacing one of the lamps is also easy. But when I tried to change the driver side lamp.. it was hell! So I was stuck with one bulb replaced, but the other was not... apparently I needed to access this from the bottom of the wheel well! So I went back to them and asked a favor to have them replace just that one bulb... they helped me out with no hesitation!
I've been coming here for the past 3 years now and they have always been accommodating and professional.

I had my Service F most recently for my 2008 E350. I was expecting it would cost over $1000 given how extensive an "F" service might be compared to merely a Service A, B, or C. Palpitations, right?
Tony looked at my car's computer to see what was needed with Service F, which had so many service numbers displayed on the computer dashboard (as part of the total package "F"). I thought "uh oh", but when we went back to the counter, Tony had said that I did NOT need both 5 or 7 (listed on the computer dashboard as part of Service F).
5 was to replace the fuel filter (costs around $700+) and 7 was for the spark plugs, both of which were clearly needed much later down the road (according to a printed out service schedule sheet). Specifically 5 (fuel filter) is required every 143,000 or 15 years! I'm only at 5 or 42,000 miles.
I KNOW that if I'd gone to a dealership, I would have been charged for a Service F that would have included ALL the service numbers, higher labor costs, etc). I'm thinking that bill would have definitely been over $1000 (I'm being conservative here in dealership estimate).
So my total bill with tax came out to $324.70!!! I was thrilled and expressed my thanks to Tony for being upfront and honest with me, not that I would expect anything less from this guy.

I went to see Tony based on Faz's review, and I would give Tony 10 stars if possible. From the moment I called him and told him of my problem, he had some leads to go on and told me to bring in the car. When I met up with Tony, he was very methodical on diagnosis. Almost to the point of knowing exactly what to do just by listening to the car. The problem turned out to be a vacuum leaked due to a hose popping off, and Tony not only re-installed the hose, but put a hose clamp to make sure this problem would not occur in the future. He fixed little odds and ends on my car and spent a lot of time with me. At the end, he tried to *not* charge me for his service! Of course, I am more than happy to support my local service center, so I had to pretty much shove money on him. Talk about an experience!
At first, I was a little apprehensive about buying a used Mercedes, but with guys like Tony, I have ZERO reservations and I would gladly go back to him time and time again.

My last review of Mercedes Exclusively was 5 years ago. I still have my 01 C320 with over 185k that Tony keeps on the road. I found him years ago and still continue to take all of my M-Bs to him. My friends ask we why I don't find a mechanic that's closer to me in San Pablo. I'm quick to say that Tony is a super great guy. He's honest & trustworthy. He looks me in the eye. He knows the Benz inside & out. His shop is so clean you could eat off the floor. Last week I had an issue with the seat adjuster when I picked my car up after 4 on Friday. Tony quickly diagnosed the issue, got the part & had me on my way shortly after 5. He stayed late even though it was his birthday!!

I found this place based on the Yelp reviews and have to agree. Tony is the most reasonably priced, honest repair shop I have ever dealt with in my 30 years of owning cars. I have a ML350 and have tried multiple deals who charge 3-4 times the price for simple things oil changes. I've been using Tony for 2 years and have had brakes, oil changes, etc. and always satisfied with the service, communication and price.

Tony is a Master Mechanic from a local dealership. He set up his own shop for all the right reasons. He's more knowledgeable, faster, cheaper, and just straight up cares more about the quality of his work than the competition-
He's a GREAT guy, too. He's honest, trustworthy, and won't make up fake (and always expensive) crap that "definitely needs to get done" the way the dealerships do.
His practice is to show you all the worn/ broken parts he replaced during your service/ repair.
Communicates well, uses factory parts. There's no one who cares more about his customers.

I came in for my appointment last week and was greeted by Tony with a warm smile. I had an appointment for a B service which was basically an oil change (A very expensive freakin oil change). Tony discussed and explained what he would be doing to the car and answered all my questions. I was quoted by the Beshoff Mercedes dealership for $425 for the B service but I only paid $275 here at Mercedes Exclusively!!
There was a slight mix up? I thought I had my appointment for Monday at 10am, but for some reason Tony did not see it in the schedule? Anyway, the place was quite booked but he squeezed me in anyway ...My appointment was at 10am, but Tony said that it won't be done till 1am. Since it was a weekday, I couldn't get a ride because my friends and family were all at work or school. SOOooo...Tony offered to drop me off at Valley Fair Mall so that I could shop around while he works on my car. After eat and and shopping around the mall, he picked me up right at 1pm. My car was done and I was a happy customer! =)

I've been coming to Mercedes Exclusively for the last two years and these guys don't disappoint. Tony (the owner) is straightforward and definitely knows what he's talking about.
He doesn't try and upsell you on anything; he figures out based on the codes what's needed and does just that, at a fair price. He always takes the time to explain what a Service entails, and how instead of doing the entire service, I might only need particular things, which are the only things he charges for.
He and Ming run a smooth operation. Ming has even dropped me off at my work after my car was brought in for service! I'll probably be staying with these guys as long as I have my E-Class. Easiest 5 star rating ever.

Just came back from Mercedes Exclusively... had my front brakes replaced (both pads and rotors), and also had the brake system's fluid flushed. I had the front brakes done at the dealership a few years ago, and now it was time to have them checked out (even though there were sensor errors). It turned out the brake pads were almost worn out completely (why the sensor didn't kick in, I don't know) and my rotors were also 1 mm below the recommended thickness (I expected it was time for a rotor change anyway.)
The total cost of parts and labor again was well below what the dealership would have charged me, and the service quality and knowledge was better than dealership (personalized service from a person who used to work for a dealership and who has all the right tools and knowledge... what more can one ask for?)
Tony, thanks again for a fantastic job on my car... I can't bring myself to move away from mercedes now, especially since I have a 'friend' like yourself in repair business.

Couple of weekends ago I dropped by and asked Tony if he had the kit for the front turn signal on my C240 (a known problem where contacts wear out, and Mercedes has a replacement kit that they sell.) Lucky for me, or his good planning based on knowledge of known problems, he had one in the shop and installed it for me and had me on my way in less than 10 minutes! [[ I am sure It would have taken me longer to make the well dressed, french-manicured, nice looking lady at the 'parts counter' of the local dealership understand what the hell it is that I am looking for.]] This is what I love about the personal and professional service I get at Tony's shop. :thumbup:

Had Tony replace the fuel filter on my car (has about 80k miles on it) to resolve an occasional hickup in idle when cold. I asked Tony if I should change spark plugs and plug wires as well, and even though it would have meant more work and money for him, he suggested to just go with the fuel filter for now and that it should resolve my problem.
The car has not shown that occasional hickup at idle when cold anymore.

Tony, thanks for taking me in on a short notice.
I took the car to Tony to have the charging system checked (I replaced the weak battery last week myself with a new one, wanted to make sure it is not the charging system.) Also had Tony increase the idle speed, during which, Tony also modified the default gas octane setting to increase my car's responsiveness and take some of the 'laziness' that has been bothering me ever since I bought the car new (wish I had this done 5 years ago.) Also checked an annoying ticking noise from beneath the center console, which was due to some insulation sagging and rubbing against drive u-joints... Tony trimmed the foam/cardboard insulation a bit so it didn't rub against the drive train, and that took care of the noise. I am sure a dealer would have charged me an arm and a leg to find and take care of that noise for me.

I took my 2002 C240 to Tony to have him change the transmission fluid and filter. Simply amazed by his professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness in general. This is a high end shop with good equipment and Mercedes specific knowledge, and the 'personal' touch of knowing who is working on your car, and not having to deal with dealership and its behind the scenes issues.
The price was more than reasonable, I insisted to pay more than he asked... the service was THAT GOOD.
I recommend him to all my friends and family and coworkers.

Must say it.
This time, the yellow warning light of my wife's Mercedes is on, so I bring to Tony. He checked right away and found out that there was missing part for the frame contact of break light.
He weld that part and made it work without charge !
At the meantime, he called the dealer to turn on the dead CD player. He did all of these without charge.

I'm not going to bore you with another testimony about how great this team is. Instead, I'm writing this review to CELEBRATE their excellence. How a team!!! I mean, taking a car to the auto shop for service, like going to a dentist, is not supposed to something you're looking forward to right? Well I'm so looking forward to my next service!! In fact, I'd have my minor transmission issue fixed for my 2000 CLK if Tony had not told me to wait... Complaints?? Of course! I wish that they could do more, much more, like adding bodywork and stereo...

Case #1: The car's automatic trunk closer stopped working three times now. The first two times were taken care of under warranty. Now out of warranty, the dealer wanted $1,200. Mercedes Exclusively fixed it for $147. Granted, they did a repair job rather than a replacement. The replacement would have been about $500, and is still an option if the trunk acts up again.
Case #2: I hit a piece of shredded tire that knocked a Parktronic sensor out of position in the bumper. Tony initially looked at the problem via pictures I e-mailed to him. When I brought the car in, he popped off the part of the bumper with the pushed-in sensor, put the sensor back in its proper position, and popped it back together again. Ten minutes. No charge.
The layers of complication and formal proceedings around getting service have been stripped away. It's now simple and down-to-earth.

I'm 20k miles in and had Tony and his folks do Service A and B on my 2010 C300 Sport. Save yourself at least $100 and go on over to Mercedes Exclusively, unless you absolutely need a loaner car, at which point you might want to go to a dealership for maintenance and repairs. As a testament to how honest these guys are, I asked for an estimate for an A/C vent cleanse. I was expecting at least $100, but Tony made sure to let me know that the issue is covered under warranty...though I would've gladly paid for this service had they offered. Your stereotypical stealership or any other money sucking mechanic estimate for this particular service would probably in the $200 range.
Looking forward to coming back here in 10k miles!

This is the best shop I've brought my 2001 ML 320 to. Tony is great! I have been bringing my car to Tony's shop since 2009. When I first came here, Tony had about two garages and since then he has expanded. I am excited to see that his business is doing so well and he really deserves it. This is a great, affordable & honest mechanic that knows his stuff about Mercedes Benz. I trust that when I take my car to this shop- it is getting taken care of and if Tony sees any other issues with my car, I take his word for it and let him go ahead and fix that too. I live in Palo Alto, so coming to San Jose is a pain, but well worth it. I love that he has an over night drop box- this is the only way I can get my car to San Jose.
So, all in all- Great shop with a knowledgeable & friendly Owner/ Mechanic 🙂

This review is a decade in the making, and long overdue.
We first came to Mercedes Exclusively when this shop only had a single-digit number of reviews on Yelp, soon after our CLK 320 went out of warranty, but not soon enough. After repeated "creative writing" exercises by the dealer's Service Advisor, since bringing our beloved Merc to Mercedes Exclusively 10 years ago, it has been running great. We have become huge fans of Tony and Mercedes Exclusively.
The 180 degree difference in experience we've received here over the years, compared to the dealer (yes, the one located around the corner and down the street) could not be more pronounced or dramatic. As many other Yelpers have stated, Tony and his team are honest, ethical, fair, knowledgeable, competent, hard-working, and, oh by the way, super nice guys. (You can make the inferential leap about the dealer.) Terrific to see Tony's continued success and to hear of his upcoming expansion (again.)

Hands down the best Mercedes repair shop around. Nick is the man. Took my E55 Kompressor here for a couple repairs. As many are aware, working on a E55 is no joke. Super Honest & Excellent Quality Mercedes Repair.
Tony and his crew are very knowledgeable - like the "Click and Clack" (NPR) for Mercedes Repair! They've seen it all and can tell you what's worth fixing/ replacing or just patching up. Prices are a fraction of what you would be charged at dealerships!
I've saved so much by going there for regular maintenance and repairs. Each time I go there (my MB has electrical idiosyncrasies) we shoot the breeze and I learn something more about my car. It's a lot to take in but Tony is always patient and will walk you through what your car does & doesn't need.
So, if you're reeling from the quote you just got from your dealer, head to Mercedes Exclusively and then you can take a trip to Vegas with all you save! (Seriously.)

Now I really now why these guys have 5 stars on yelp. They are honest, provide great service and definitely save you ton of money. I had a quote from the service station for over 2k, I ended up paying 10% of the quote to Mercedes exclusively. Tony at Mercedes Exclusively gave me a print out of services due in future. Most of the services the service station had quoted werent due until Service F & service G, my car was due service B.
My car definitely runs better than before and I am glad, I choose Mercedes Exclusively over Smythe.

I took my previous MLB320 to Mercedes Exclusively for many years. When Tony finally advised it was time to "retire" her, I didn't hesitate. Family and friends all had their own recommendations on a new car, however knowing that another Mercedes meant not having to find a new mechanic made the decision a no brainer. For my first visit, I called to see if they were willing to look at a car before I accepted it. Tony walked me through the car for about 45 minutes and didn't charge me. Who does that? Take 45 min out of their work hours without charging?
Needless to say, any work I need done with my car, I've only brought it to Tony. You really cannot put a price on a truth worthy mechanic. I never have second thoughts about Tony's suggestions or work. Tony and his right hand man also attends workshops? to keep up with the industry.
Make sure you call and make an appointment, its a 2 man shop and they're busy.

This place is the real deal. Initially skeptical... but I think this place is my new go-to-mechanic.
Had a SRS and overhead console problem. Tony and Ming diagnosed for $49 (bump seat belt buckle and fired overhead console --- plug and play stuff)... that is cheaper than many other independent MB service shops.
Even when I didn't want to fix it then, they wrote in the service note that if I decide to get it fixed by them, they credit the $49 dollar back towards the repair.

Very excellent customer service delivered by Tony, the owner of this business. He is very knowledgable on the ins and outs of Mercedes vehicles. From chatting with him, it was pretty evident that he is a Mercedes aficionado. I recently bought my Mercedes used and Tony allayed my fears related to the previous owner(s)'s suboptimal treatment of the vehicle (using regular gas with a premium only engine, and using regular engine oil instead of synthetic). I primarily brought it in for an oil change and a "Service A". Also, a general diagnosis, though I did specially mention a specific issue of which I was aware.
The service went pretty smooth. Fluids were topped off or replaced. Mostly cosmetic issues were spotted, and nothing that wasn't critical to the basic function of a 15+ year old vehicle was not fixed. However, the diagnosis took a lot longer than I expected. Tony wanted to hold my vehicle overnight so it would be convenient to do further testing the next morning. I permitted this, and on day 2, I didn't hear back from him all day until 2 hours before closing time. Since I was busy at the time, by the time I freed up, I had only one hour. Fortunately, I wasn't in pressing need of convenient transportation for the day, but I was a bit anxious to hear some news on his diagnosis, as the day went on. Seems like he just wants to do a great job for the customer and really appreciates Mercedes vehicles; he tested my car a number of times during the day to get it to trigger an expected symptom, but never got any result (a good and maybe bad thing). When it came time for me to pay, he had already decided to take back the charge on the diagnosis, since "there wasn't even a problem", though he and his mechanics certainly did the work and spent the time to experiment with the issue. He suggested that the next time the issue came up, I bring it in right away, which I definitely will be doing.
This is how you get repeat business, and potentially more from the word of mouth advertising that I will be sharing with friends. Business also seems to be booming, understandably from all these positive reviews and the line of pickups that started forming out the office door after I was done.

I found Tony's MB Exclusively by reading his great reviews on yelp so I thought I should give him a try. I've been taking our ML55 between big dealerships and smaller shops to find a balance between reliability and reasonable price...Tony is it!! He's honest, trustworthy, knows what he is doing and most of all...he saved me almost a couple of thousand dollars from the first major repair that he has done based on the first quote that I got from a dealership.
I said he really knows what he is doing. Before I took my car to him for a clicking noise behind the radio in the dashboard, another shop said it could be just the radio, not convinced, I took it to a dealership which diagnosed it to be a stuck motor stepper and was going to charge me $1650. Without telling Tony the diagnosis, he gave me the same diagnosis as the dealership and told me he was going to charge me between $900-$1000. Guess what, he only charged us $850.
Another incident, my husband changed the smog air pump..Tony reset the "check engine" light without charge, not only once but twice...which shop does that?

Took my 2014 CLA 250 in for brakes, service, and a broken windshield wiper motor. I knew for sure I could get the brakes and service done, but was pretty surprised they offered to fix the windshield wiper motor as well. I thought for sure I'd have to take it to the dealership. All three services cost me $1200, which is at minimum 40% less than what I would have paid at the dealership. Tony has great customer service, and you definitley get the feeling he is a fair and honest individual. I will definitely be coming back to Mercedes Exclusively for all of my upcoming service and maintenance needs.

I took my old 2006 S 500 car to Tony and he really did a great job. I have no complains about his honesty and work. He is one honest person you can find near San Jose. I would like to work with him again and again. He has proven track record. You can bring any kind of problem related to your Mercedes Benz car old or new, Tony and his team will take care of all the issues related to your car with integrity and honesty, that is why his shop is always busy. Furthermore, I always refer his services all my friends and family members who owns Mercedes Benz.

Can't really expect more from a Mercedes shop. Prices are fair, service is great, and the job is done right. I took my E350 in because of the check engine light which indicated I needed a new Premair sensor. Most places I called either didn't know what it was or told me I needed to replace the entire radiator. That would have cost over a thousand dollars to do. When I called Tony, I was pleasantly surprised that, he knew what the part is, and also didn't try to rip me off by telling me I needed a new radiator. If you need to service your Mercedes, I wouldn't hesitate to use Mercedes Exclusively!

This morning my CLK 320 gave me a reminder that Service A is due in 1,000 miles, so I will be returning to Mercedes Exclusively again soon. This reminder also made me realize I havent reviewed this wonderful shop yet, so here goes....
Tony and his team have been servicing my CLK since I brought it to Cali from Colorado and I have always been pleased. The best thing about Tony is his honesty. Unlike the dealership service departments I never feel like he is pushing me to do something I don't need. Prices are competitive but not cheap, and how could they be? Mercedes parts are spendy, that's how it is, but his labor charges and the results make it all worthwhile. He is extremely popular, so appointments are not always available right away, but the experience is worth the wait.
My CLK has over 100K miles on it now, so it's time to buy a new car. I was about to throw down on a Tesla Model X, and I may still do that, but then I started thinking forward to service issues. This shop can't work on a Tesla so I'll be stuck with Elon and Co going forward and judging from the service one of my friends gets from Tesla (they either do the work yard-sale-style in his driveway or he has to drive all the way to Palo Alto) it may not be worth it. I started looking at new Mercedes models last night and that may be where I end up, with Tony's shop being one of the factors that influences my decision to stay brand loyal. It's easy to buy something that looks and feels good at the time, but it's a long road ahead and it matters who will take care of you when things break. At minimum I'll still be bringing the CLK to Tony, I won't part with it, it's still great for trips to/from the gym, dropping the top on sunny days and having a car that howls when you get on it. This is a shop I trust completely.

My car is 10 years old and I've been going to Mercedes Exclusively (exclusively) for the last 6 years after I got tired of getting ripped off by the stealership. The dealer would always recommend unnecessary services for my then relatively new car. The last time I went to the dealership to get my car serviced, they told me I needed a transmission fluid flush. I went to Mercedes Exclusively to get a second opinion. Tony checked my car and told me the flush wasn't needed yet. I've been getting my car serviced here ever since. I appreciate how honest these guys are and I always know my car is in good hands. Yesterday, I got an alert on my car to check the engine oil. I knew it wasn't time to change my oil yet so I called ME and they fit me in the next day. I was expecting to drop my car off but luckily they were able to look at it right away while I waited. One of the guys (I didn't catch his name but he was bald) looked at my car and confirmed I didn't have a leak but that my oil was a little bit low. He topped off my oil and noticed some of my lights had burnt out so he replaced them for me. I was getting ready to pay when he said "don't worry, no charge!" I'm so happy to be a loyal customer of ME. Other places will nickel and dime you for even taking a peak at your car. These guys are the best! Thank you ME!
